Ms. Richardson's Fourth Grade Class

Several things came home in the Thursday folder last week, but among them was the Thanksgiving lunch order form.  If you will be ordering lunch, Friday is the last day to do so.  I will be sending the tickets home as they come in, or if you would rather I keep them until lunch, please send me an email.  If you cannot make it, I will be having lunch with the remaining students in the class.

Today ask students about: breaking numbers down in multiplication and also about Guy Fawkes Day.  Oh, and have a happy Guy Fawkes Day!

This has been a busy past couple of days.  We have been tying up our regions of Texas unit and the students have been writing commercials for their various regions.  We should be ready to record and edit videos on Tuesday.  The students have been so creative.  We are begining to talk about ecosystems on Monday in science.  We're finishing up our current unit by talking about hurricane Sandy as well as other weather systems on the earth.  This morning we went to an interesting assembly on the upcoming election.  We also talked about the electoral college system a bit this week.  Talk to your kids about it to get their opinions.  It should be interesting conversation.  In computer lab on Tuesday they also voted for President and Senators in a mock election.
