Ms. Richardson's Fourth Grade Class

Today we worked on our essays about a time you did something you had never done before.
We had music today, our class practiced recorder. And were reminded of the C note.
Are class also wrote a thing we liked about each person in class.Music was played during this event (in my opinion the music  was a little funny).

So far a great day for a even greater class!

We've just started book groups with the books Holes, A Series of Unfortunate Events, City of Ember, and James and the Giant Peach. We also watched a video about Yellowstone Park. We got a new student yesterday too! The class is finishing the
native american projects. We're also finishing our science projects.

Today we have been finishing up our first draft on our fake personal expierience. We partner edited with two different kids around the room. Our special was P.E. and it was filled with dribbling,  tackling, and pulling. In other words we played basket ball and capture the flag. All week long we have been learning about arrays. We also have been learning about two different types of math: Break it down expanded and algorithm aka old school.

Today we did a study on the poem "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe. I personally, like this story even though it's about a guy going crazy. "The Raven" is a good story for a pitch black halloween night. Today we've been told to P.E.E. on our paper. P.E.E. stands for point, example, explain on our paper. We watched a video about the electoral college. Please don't vote Moby for president. Today we have moved desks to a very unfamiliar planet, and that concludes this blog. See you

Today we are going to go out on the ramps and dance to the monster mash. Our buddys are going to meet us in the fields and we both brought snacks and we are going to share our snacks. We will also be wearing our pajamas. It's going to be so awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of people in our class did dioramas . three people in our class teamed up and did a really funny play about a book . All of them looked like at least two hours of hard work had been put into making them . a lot of people used cardboard

Friday 9-28-12 is movie night and bring a male to shcool day.For movie night we are watching The Lorax. You can bring a blanket, pillow, pjs, family and more.

Today we learned about how condensation forms on cup.
We learned that condensation comes from the air around the cup. We learned that by putting ice in cups of water that had blue food coloring and in them. We took the dew point tempature and we wiped of the dew. The dew was clear but the water inside the cup was blue so the water came from outside the cup.

This week we finished are tabloe progects. The last groop finished theres and we geast 4 out of 5

We found out that our ruff draft for are book progect is due October 8 and the final draft is due

A bird with an odd adaptation!  I love how slow motion helps us learn things about science.  What innovation will help us next?
